Month 25 Stats

Well you are now well into your 2s. You are speaking very well now. You are enunciating words better and you can pick up words pretty quickly now. Most times on the first try. And you are really starting to string words together now into phrases and short sentences. Things like 'more cheese mommy' or 'mommy sleeping. wake up mommy'.

You are throwing a lot more tantrums now too. You still hit mommy and daddy when you are upset but we throw you straight into your crib and you don't do it as much. Before we would try to negotiate the terms but now we just throw you in there for a few minutes.

With the tantrums though comes a lot more personality. You laugh and smile and show a lot more emotion these days. You do funny things and you try to entertain us and other people instead of just sitting there. Last night for example I taught you to do a karate kick and a judo chop and you showed Jimi today your self defense talents.

You are also counting well but you don't really understand numbers well yet. I just read a book that says your brain right now is perfectly suited to learn languages but not things like mathematics.

Oh yea. You are starting to learn words. Cat was your first word and you can already spell your name Sophia. Girly taught you that. Pretty amazing.
