Lazy Sunday Afternoon

After brunch, you fell asleep in the carseat. On the way home, I stopped by Buy Buy Baby to buy a few things - most importantly, I bought door jams (so you can't slam the door anymore) and corner cushions (so you don't bump your head on the granite counter in the kitchen). You are finally tall enough that we get worried whenever you run around the kitchen.

When we got home, you woke up from your hour long nap. I thought you might fall back asleep with me on the bed, but you were more interested in play time. You also watched a few old cartoons with Daddy on the home PC and played with your puzzles.

Around 4PM Daddy took a hot bath and you wanted to join in the fun. You have not taken a bath with Daddy in months so you had lots of fun splashing around and getting Daddy all wet.

After your bath, I snuck out to Target to buy a few more things for the house including more window insulation kits since there are cold drafts and lots of dust/dirt from the windows. When I got home, Daddy made us some yummy miso soup for dinner. SLURP!
After dinner we played some more around the house. Daddy was teaching you how to count using your new peg puzzle pieces. You can count up to 20 because you have memorized the numbers, but you don't know what the numbers mean yet.
You also climbed up the wall with Daddy's help.
It must come from a Dora DVD - "Climb like a jaguar! Up Up Up!"
And down you fall into Daddy's arms. How fun!
